Michaela Kennedy, Board Member

Michaela grew up in New York City and on Long Island, but has deep roots in West Palm Beach as well, where she finally moved full-time in 2010. As VP of Fundraising & Marketing at Charlotte Pelton & Associates, Michaela enjoys stewarding strong relationships, developing innovative campaigns and connecting donors to meaningful giving experiences. The running theme in her life is the desire to partner with dynamic people and organizations to provide powerful initiatives that serve people and animals in need.

Prior to joining CP&A, Michaela served as Development Director at St. Mark's Episcopal Church & School where she completed a capital campaign that resulted in a $22 million facilities redevelopment project, then founded the Development Office for the church and school. Projects closest to her heart while there include the annual Food Packing for Haiti event and helping to establish the Cornerstone Scholarship.

Michaela believes in the mission of Family Promise to solve and prevent family homelessness in our region. She believes in the leadership and the staff's ability to carry out this mission because she has seen their commitment, passion, and talents at work. She is thrilled to be part of the Family Promise team and contribute her efforts to assisting families in need.
